Now you seek answers to your queries on NPS through WhatsApp

Technology has changed the way we approach investments. The National Pension Scheme (NPS) backed by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has announced a new WhatsApp service for its subscribers to submit NPS-related queries. In a recent tweet, the NPS Trust shared, “Dear Subscribers, NPS Trust is on WhatsApp now to address your queries on NPS!! Connect with us @ 918588852130.”

This government-backed pension scheme is a low-cost investment product introduced for investors looking to earn market-linked returns along with necessary tax benefits. Apart, its subscribers including both government and corporate employees benefit from parking their money in this considering how it is operated by well-known Pension Fund houses. Indians aged between 18 and 70 years, resident and non-resident, can open an NPS account either online or offline through Point of Presence (POPs) in banks.

NPS subscribers can then invest in Tier I and Tier II account to avail of its account-related services including contributions, eNPS services, changes in scheme preference, withdrawal, altering investment options and redeeming the investments during exit. Now with the new WhatsApp service available, investors can post their NPS-related queries from the comfort of their homes.
