4 companies set record dates for stock splits and bonuses this week

This week, three small cap companies have set record dates for sub-division/split of face value of equity shares.

The company has set Thursday, March 30 as the record date for sub-division of 1 equity share of face value of rupees 10 each fully paid-up to 10 equity shares of rupees 1 each.

The company has set Friday, March 31 as the record date for sub-division in face value of equity shares of rupees 10 to rupees 1 each.

The company has set Friday, March 31 as the record date for sub-division of 1 equity share of face value of rupees 10 each fully paid-up to 2 equity shares of rupees 5 each.

The company has fixed Thursday, March 30, as the record date for bonus in the ratio 1:1.

A stock split occurs when a company issues extra shares to its existing shareholders while reducing the face value of each share by a predetermined ratio.

Bonus shares are additional shares that a company grants to its existing shareholders in a fixed ratio of shares held to shares outstanding.

All four companies had last split the face value of their shares in 2016.

All the stockholders will benefit from the stock split/bonus.
