6 companies set record dates for dividends this week; Check details 

Six companies have set record dates this week to determine eligibility of shareholders for dividend payments.

Interim dividends are usually smaller than final dividends, which are paid out following a company’s AGM and the release of its financial results.

Three companies, Schaeffler India Ltd, Visaka Industries Ltd, and Varun Beverages Ltd have set Wednesday, April 12, as the record date for dividends.

Schaeffler India Ltd has declared a final dividend of rupees 24 (1200%) per equity share.

Visaka Industries Ltd has approved payment of interim dividend of rupees 7 per equity share (i.e.70% on the face value of rupees 10 per share).

Varun Beverages Ltd has declared a final dividend of Rupee 1 (10%) per equity share.

Britannia Industries Ltd has declared an interim dividend at 7200% i.e. rupees 72 per equity share of face value of Rupee 1 each.

Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd has declared interim dividend of Rupee 0.25 per share (25%) on the equity share of the face value of Rupee 1 each.

Goodluck India Ltd has declared an interim dividend at the rate of 100% i.e. rupees 2 per equity share of rupees 2 each.
