Within the equity asset class, it is advisable to invest a minimum of 30 percent in Sensex/Nifty stocks and another 20-40 percent in SMC stocks.

Long-term investors will ultimately get rewarded, but they need to invest on the basis of fundamentals and have the patience to remain invested for the long term.
