48 companies set record dates this week; check detail here

Forty-eight companies have set record dates to determine eligibility of shareholders for interim dividend payments.

The dividend will be paid to all shareholders whose names are recorded in the company's shareholder records as of the end of the record date.

The list consists of Sun TV Network, IDFC, ITC, Dalmia Bharat,  Shree Cements.

It also include Balakrishna Industries, Aurobindo Pharma, Ircon International and Hero Motocorp.

Interim dividends are typically smaller than regular dividends paid after the end of the financial year.


Dividends are generally announced when quarterly earnings results are reported.

Eligible shareholders must be on the company's records as of the end of the record date to receive the dividend payments.
