(PTI) Gold price rose by 80 to 60,660 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday amid gains in rates of the precious metal internationally, according to HDFC Securities.

Silver also climbed 260 to 76,040 per kg.

"Spot gold price in the Delhi markets traded at 60,660 per 10 gram, up 80 per 10 gram," Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst - Commodities at HDFC Securities, said.

In the overseas markets, both gold and silver were trading higher at USD 2,009 per ounce and USD 25.55 per ounce, respectively.

Gold traded higher in Asian trading hours on Monday.

Comex spot gold price is trading up by 0.30 per cent at USD 2,009 per ounce against its previous close, Gandhi said.
