(PTI) Gold prices tumbled ₹710 to ₹60,970 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid weak global cues, according to HDFC Securities.
The yellow metal had settled at ₹61,680 per 10 grams in the previous trade.
Silver also plummeted ₹2,690 to ₹73,445 per kg.
"Gold prices in the Delhi markets traded at ₹60,970 per 10 grams, down ₹710 per 10 grams," Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst - Commodities at HDFC Securities, said.
In the overseas market, gold and silver were quoting lower at USD 2,009 per ounce and USD 24.10 per ounce, respectively.
