HDFC Bank shares surged 2.6% on April 05 due to strong growth in deposits and advances.

The stock opened at 1,618.60 rupees per share and touched a high of 1,653.90 rupees.

The 52-week high of the stock is 1,722.10 rupees and the 52-week low is 1,271.60 rupees.

The stock has rallied over 1% in the last one month and grown by 14.5% in the past six months.

The bank’s deposits aggregated to 18.8 lakh crore as of March 31, 2023, a growth of 20.8% over March 31, 2022.

Retail deposits increased by 1,06 lakh crore and wholesale deposits grew by 10.0% over March 31, 2022.

The bank’s advances aggregated to 16 lakh crore as of March 31, 2023.

Its CASA deposits stood at 8.36 lakh crore as of March 2023, representing a growth of 11%.

36 analysts on an average have a ‘STRONG BUY’ call on the stock.
