1. SIP inflows jumped 28% on Y-o-Y basis to hit an all-time high of ₹12,693 crore in August’22 compared to inflows of ₹9,923 crore in August’21. Total number of SIP folios jumped to 5.72 crore at August end.
2. WPI inflation eased to a 11-month low of 12.4% in August’22, down from 13.9% in the previous month. Meanwhile retail inflation inched up to 7% in August 2022 from 6.7% in the previous month.
