Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company, also known as Kotak Mutual Fund, has introduced an Investor Education and Awareness Initiative called “Seekho Paiso ki Bhasha” in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This initiative is designed to promote financial literacy by conducting a comprehensive series of educational and awareness programs targeted at empowering teachers throughout India.

The primary goal of this initiative is to provide education and raise awareness among approximately 75,000 educators, aiming to empower them and enhance their financial knowledge. Ultimately, this effort can contribute to India's path towards a potentially prosperous future.

The “Seekho Paiso ki Bhasha” initiative is set to host approximately 1,000 financial literacy programs scheduled between September and October 2023. This initiative aims to mould a generation of financially literate citizens. These programs will be conducted in over 100 locations, ensuring broad accessibility for teachers throughout the country.

Upon completion of the program, Kotak Mutual Fund aims to reach over 75,000 CBSE teachers, with an anticipated 50% of them being women educators. This emphasis on empowering female educators with financial literacy underscores the importance of promoting equitable growth and development.

As part of this initiative, Kotak Mutual Fund has enlisted the expertise of more than 500 skilled trainers from the Centre for Investment Education and Learning (CIEL). These trainers will oversee these influential sessions, ensuring that the program maintains a high standard of quality and relevance.
