Individual investors hold 89% of their assets in equity-oriented schemes

Individual investors, including both retail and HNIs, account for 89% of the assets in equity-oriented schemes. Conversely, institutional investors hold a dominant share in liquid and money market schemes (88%), debt-oriented schemes (59%), and ETFs and FOFs (90%).
