Hurun India Future Unicorn Index 2022: From Squareyards to Bankbazaar; Check top 15 women-led businesses

In India, an increasing number of women are pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams and succeeding in their businesses. The ASK Private Wealth Hurun India Future Unicorn Index 2022 includes fifteen businesses with a female co-founder. 

An alumnus of Wharton Business School, Kanika Gupta is the Chief Operating Officer of Square Yards occupying the top spot in this list. Square Yards is one of the fastest growing Proptech platforms in the United Arab Emirates, the rest of the Middle East, Australia, and Canada. It is the largest integrated platform for real estate and mortgages in India.

Manju Dhawan, co-founder of Ecom Express, who stand at the second place, was the first member of her family to become an entrepreneur. Manju has broken several barriers and is regarded as a maverick who has built a name for herself in a field that is sometimes described as being male-centric while providing strategic guidance for sales performance and outcomes. She is a key proponent of inclusion and diversity at Ecom Express.

Pallavi Shrivastava, a co-founder and director at Progcap, is in third place. Progcap (Desiderata Effect Ventures pvt. Ltd.) is a mission-driven, inclusive financing technology organization that works to harness the transformational impact of millions of micro and small businesses in the last mile by providing them with cheap, personalized funding and automating their supply chains.

Kshama Fernandes, the managing director and chief executive officer of Northern Arc Capital, a prominent non-banking financing company in India that invests in and links underbanked organizations and companies to capital markets investors, is in fourth position. Kshama is well regarded for her expertise and dedication to the cause of utilizing finance's power for the benefit of all, and she has served as a member of a number of high-powered committees established by the Indian government.

Prukalpa Sankar, co-founder of Atlan, who offers a discovery and collaboration tool that aids in bringing context, trust, and greater understanding to the current data stack, is listed in fifth position on this list. She received recognition for her work in 2016 as one of the Top 10 CNBC Young Business Women, Forbes 30u30, Fortune 40u40, and Economic Times Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.

Sixth on the list is Sugar Cosmetics Corp.'s CEO and co-founder, Vineeta Singh. She served as a judge in the Sony Entertainment Television reality competition Shark Tank India. Singh's business journey hasn't been simple, from starting the domestic cosmetic firm to becoming one of the show's favorite investors.

The co-founder and CTO of Pixis, a codeless AI infrastructure firm for demand creation and marketing optimization, Vrushali Prasade, is ranked seventh. Building creative AI-driven solutions to unusual, challenging issue statements is Vrushali's area of expertise. Pixis' goal is to free marketers from the need to write a single line of code by offering them powerful plug-and-play AI tools.

Priya Sharma, co-founder and chief operating and financial officer at ZestMoney, is in eighth place. ZestMoney is a fintech startup that employs digital EMI without the need for a credit card or a credit score. She began her career as a management and technology consultant with Sapient Corporation in 2001, after graduating from London Business School.

The co-founder of the Tata-backed, omnichannel jewelry shop BlueStone, with a 410 million dollar valuation, Vidya Nataraj, is in ninth place. The trusted brand is linked with modernity and digitalisation as a result of a fast changing customer desire to purchase online and the traditional jewellery industry's poor digital penetration.

Saumya Singh Rathore, a co-founder of WinZO, is ranked tenth. She completed her master's degree at University of Manchester. As a member of the All India Gaming Federation (AIGF), WinZO is a social gaming platform that guarantees the fairness of every game it lists.

Priya Singh, the co-founder and CPO of Chalo, is at position eleven. She founded and served as CEO of Rangrezaaglobal. She graduated from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya with an M.A. in Clinical/Psychiatric Social Work. Chalo is a free application that allows users to follow buses in real time and offers mobile ticketing options for bus passes and tickets.

Number twelve on this list is BankBazaar's co-founder and chief product officer, Rati Shetty. BankBazaar, an enormous online marketplace with its headquarters in Chennai, strives to increase consumer financial literacy by providing immediate, personalized pricing quotations on various financial products. A positive user experience, in Rati's opinion, may influence other users and help a business attract repeat consumers.

The Co-Founder and Product Head at Pratilipi, Shally Modi, is included at position 13 on this list. Sahradayi (also known as Shally) graduated from SP University Vadodara with an MBA and an MSc (BioTech). Before joining Pratilipi, she left the PhD program at AIIMS, Delhi, and worked for Vodafone and DHL. Pratilipi is a self-publishing and audiobook platform in India containing content in twelve different languages.

The co-founder of SirionLabs, Kanti Prabha, is included in position 14 on this list. Kanti earned a master's degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. A well-funded firm with rapid development, SirionLabs is on a quest to provide the entire globe a Smarter contracting experience.
