As PKH Ventures IPO gets cancelled; what happens to your money?

Construction and development company PKH Ventures withdrew its initial public offering (IPO) due to insufficient subscription.

The IPO received only 65% subscription on the last day of bidding, with QIBs contributing only 11% of the total offer.

 In the case of IPO withdrawal, applicants are provided with a full refund of the amounts blocked for their bids.

Since the issue was withdrawn due to under-subscription, the unblocking of bidders' accounts is expected to be quick and smooth.

If the unblocking process takes longer than the estimated time, investors may be entitled to compensation.

The registrar to the issue, Link Intime India Private Limited, notifies the Self-Certified Syndicate Banks (SCSBs) and Sponsor Banks to unblock the accounts of ASBA (Application Supported by Blocked Amount) bidders within one working day.

Investors should reach out to the merchant bankers and registrar via phone or letter if they haven't received the refund. 

Refunds are typically processed electronically, and physical refunds are only necessary in case of a dispute related to blocking and unblocking.
