Peer-to-Peer (P2P) payments on UPI are used everywhere- from settling bills after a lunch with friends, sending money to loved ones on special occasions or finally getting a hang of expenses from that Goa trip.
Introducing CRED UPI P2P a UPI experience, designed tastefully to make payments instant, secure, and rewarding. Members can ‘pay anyone’ - be it CRED members, or non-members; by searching their contact list or by adding phone numbers, or UPI id’s.

When a member uses CRED’s UPI P2P experience for payments to ‘special contacts’, the WIN-WIN feature is activated. This lets both the payer and recipient get rewarded through cashbacks credited to one’s CRED balance. This balance can be redeemed on any bill payment or store transaction on CRED.

How to make P2P UPI payments on CRED
● Step One: Open the CRED app and select the ‘pay contacts’ option on the bottom tab.
● Step Two: Select who you’d like to pay. You can do this by selecting a contact from your list, or typing names/phone numbers in the search bar.
● Step Three: Enter the amount and your UPI pin to complete the transaction.
● Step Four: Customize and share the payment receipt once done.
● Step Five: If you’ve paid a ‘special contact’ you and your friend can get rewarded through WIN-WIN.
