Gold climbs rupees 350, silver gains rupees 650 on June 2, 2023

Gold price increased by rupees 350 to rupees 60,600 per 10 gram in the national capital. 

Silver also soared by rupees 650 to rupees 73,550 per kg.

Spot gold prices in Delhi markets traded at rupees 60,600/10gram.

HDFC Securities stated that gold had closed at rupees 60,250 per 10 gram in the previous trade. 

International markets witnessed both gold and silver trading higher at USD 1,976 per ounce and USD 23.84 per ounce respectively. 

Weakness in the US dollar is responsible for the rise in the precious metals’ prices. 

Expectations of pause in the US Fed reserve policy tightening is also driving gold and silver buying. 

Increase in gold and silver prices is a sign of investors’ interest in the precious metals.
