Four small-cap companies set record dates: check details

Four small-cap companies have set record dates this week for the purpose of determining eligibility of shareholders for sub-division/split of face value of equity shares.

Shreeji Translogistics Ltd has fixed February 15 as the record date to decide on the eligibility of shareholders entitled for sub-division of each equity share of face value of rupees 10 each.

Vaxtex Cotfab Ltd has also fixed February 15 as the record date to decide on the eligibility of shareholders entitled for sub-division/ split of one equity share of the company having face value of rupees 2 each.

Accuracy Shipping Ltd has fixed February 15 for the purpose of sub-division of one equity share of rupees 10 each into 10 equity shares of rupee 1.


KCD Industries India Ltd has fixed February 17 as the record date for the purpose of sub-division of one equity share having face value of rupees 5 each.

A stock split occurs when a company issues extra shares to its existing shareholders while reducing the face value of each share by a predetermined ratio.

This process helps in increasing the liquidity of the stocks and making them affordable for retail investors.
