They provide estimates of their earnings and expenses for the previous year and express their needs and demands.

The finance ministry allocates revenue to numerous divisions for their impending outlays after evaluating the requests.

Stakeholders including small business proprietors and FIIs are consulted by the DEA and the department of revenue.


The halwa ceremony heralds the start of Budget document printing. 

Following approval by both houses, the Budget is forwarded to the President for approval.
