To adhere to the fund's mandate, AMC will invest at least 80 percent of assets in large cap funds while the remaining in other stocks - mid caps, debt securities and units issued by REITs & INvITs.

There are a number of characteristics of large cap companies which include: easier access to capital, industry leaders, long established track record, relatively stable business, better access and availability of talent and stronger balance sheet that helps to survive economic downturns.

The fund scheme will carry an exit load of 1 percent if fund units are redeemed/ switched out on or before one month from the date of allotment. There will not be any exit load afterwards.

To woo the investors, AMC says there are 100 large cap stocks with market capitalisation more than 47,461 crore.

The scheme will reopen for sale and repurchase within five business days from the date of allotment.
