Aarti Industries shares rise 6% after Q4 numbers

Shares of Aarti Industries rose 6 percent to 811.90 on BSE on May 30 after the Q4 numbers.

The company released its March quarter numbers on May 27 in which it showed its Q4FY22 consolidated net profit rose 42.34 percent year-on-year (YoY) to 193.73 crore from 136.10 crore in the same quarter last year.

The profit, however, was down 74.92 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). In the December quarter, the company's profit was 772.49 crore.

Revenue from operations for the quarter under review came at 2,017.82 crore, up 49.82 percent, from 1,346.80 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. But the company's revenue was down 23.46 percent QoQ. In the December quarter, the company's revenue was 2,636.16 crore.

The stock opened at 770 against the previous close of 765.95 and touched the high of 819.75 on BSE. 

Shares of Aarti Industries have been in the green since May 26 and with today's close, the stock extended the gains into the third consecutive session.

Considering the stock's today's close of 765.95, it is still 30.5 percent below its 52-week high of 1,168.40 that it hit on October 19, 2021.
