Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading public sector banks, has introduced a groundbreaking facility that allows customers to withdraw cash from its ATMs using Unified Payments Interface (UPI). With this innovative move, Bank of Baroda becomes the first public sector bank to offer such a service, further strengthening its commitment to providing convenient and secure banking solutions.

The Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) facility enables Bank of Baroda customers, as well as customers of other participating issuer banks that utilize BHIM UPI or any other UPI application, enabled for ICCW, to withdraw cash from Bank of Baroda ATMs without the need for a physical debit card.

How to withdraw cash using UPI?

Here are some easy and convenient steps to withdraw cash at BoB ATMs using UPI.

Step 1: Initiating a UPI cash withdrawal

To initiate a UPI cash withdrawal at a Bank of Baroda ATM, customers can follow these simple steps:

Selecting the 'UPI cash withdrawal' option: Upon reaching a Bank of Baroda ATM, customers need to choose the 'UPI cash withdrawal' option.

Entering the withdrawal amount: Customers should enter the desired withdrawal amount on the ATM.

Display of QR code: After entering the withdrawal amount, the ATM screen will display a unique QR code.

Step 2: Authorizing the transaction

To complete the cash withdrawal process, customers can carry out these two simple processes.

Scanning the QR code: Using a UPI app enabled for ICCW on their mobile phone, customers need to scan the QR code displayed on the ATM screen.

Transaction authorization: After scanning the QR code, customers must authorize the transaction using their UPI PIN on their mobile devices.

Step 3: Selecting the account for debit

If a customer has multiple bank accounts linked to a single UPI ID, the ICCW functionality offers the flexibility to choose the desired account for debit. This feature ensures that customers can easily access the specific account from which they wish to withdraw cash.

Customers can avail themselves of two ICCW transactions per day, per account. Each transaction has a withdrawal limit of 5,000, ensuring that customers can conveniently access the cash they need.

By enabling UPI-powered cash withdrawals at their ATMs, the Bank of Baroda has revolutionized banking by enhancing convenience and security. This pioneering feature empowers customers to withdraw cash without the need for a physical debit card, ensuring that banking is now more straightforward and easily accessible than ever before.
